aim is to help you realise your true potential as a guitarist.
Regardless of your current ability, I can help you improve your playing in the areas which are important to you, according to your needs, preferences and favourite styles. Your lessons will be tailor-made to suit you as an individual player, speaking from a player’s perspective.
Do you dream of being the next Slash? We can work on your use of the pentatonic scale and double stops to cultivate a bluesy and fiery style. Are you more into melodic lead styles, such as those of Ritchie Blackmore, Randy Rhoads, Brian May or Eric Johnson? In that case, we can examine diatonic modes, and how they relate to harmony to create ear-catching riffs and melodies. Perhaps you’re interested in increasing your chord vocabulary to encompass extended jazz chords as employed by players such as Joe Pass? Or you want to learn fingerstyle techniques as used in classical or spanish genres?
